$199 Local Sample Review

Local Sample Reality Check

If you need a clearer view of a supplier sample before bulk production, our local operations team in China can review it in person. After payment, we provide the receiving details for your supplier to send the sample to us, and you receive practical photos, video, and observations to support your next decision.

When a local sample check helps

This service is for buyers who need a timely, in-person view of a supplier sample in China. After payment, we provide the receiving details for your supplier to send the sample to our local team. We then review the agreed visible details and document them for your next decision.

The check is most useful when:

You need a local review before deciding what comes next After payment, we provide a China receiving address for your supplier to send the sample to our local operations team. We review the delivered sample in person and provide clear photos, video, and practical observations.
You want more clarity before arranging the next shipment Before you spend more time and money on international delivery, a local review can show the sample's current condition and highlight details you may want the supplier to address first.
You need details that existing photos or video do not show If the available images do not fully answer your questions, the local review can focus on specific angles, packaging, labels, accessories, measurements, or other visible details you identify in advance.
You need a baseline before ordering more A local check gives you a reference point: what did this sample actually look like, feel like, and include — before you commit to a larger quantity.
You are comparing two supplier samples Two suppliers sent samples. A side-by-side local observation helps you compare beyond the spec sheets.
You want useful evidence for supplier follow-up The photos and observations give you specific points to discuss with the supplier if you want clarification or revisions after the review.

What the $199 local sample check covers

This is a surface-level, observational review. It is designed to catch the kind of issues that are visible to a careful observer — the things you would notice yourself if you were standing in front of the sample.

Observations included in the check

Each item below is observed and recorded. Where something doesn't match what you expected or what the supplier claimed, the report flags it.

Arrival condition How the package looks when opened: outer packaging condition, internal packing, visible damage, and whether the delivered contents match the sample description you provided.
Visual appearance General look, color, finish, visible workmanship, obvious flaws, and whether it roughly matches the product description or listing you provided.
Packaging and labeling Labels, branding, markings, hang tags, printed materials, and whether the packaging matches what was shown or described before ordering.
Basic quantity and accessories Count of items, included accessories, spare parts, or bundled items — checked against what the order or PI lists.
Simple dimensions and weight Basic measurements and weight recorded with standard tools. Useful for spotting large deviations, not for precision engineering tolerance.
Basic use observation If the item is a functional product, a simple power-on, fit, or handling observation. Does it turn on? Does it feel right? Are there obvious functional problems?
Photos and short video record Clear photos from multiple angles and a short video clip showing key observations. These become your independent record of the sample.
Submitted supplier-message context Relevant supplier messages you submit can be compared with the sample brief and observed evidence. CSC does not contact the supplier directly.

What the local sample check does not do

Clear scope makes the service useful. Here is what falls outside this check, so you know when to use it and when something else is needed.

Not a lab test

No chemical analysis, material composition testing, safety certification, or compliance verification. The check is visual and observational — not scientific.

Not a formal quality inspection

No AQL sampling, no statistical process control, no formal inspection standards (ISO, ANSI, GB). This is a practical look, not a regulatory inspection report.

Not a factory audit

The checker does not visit the supplier's factory, does not verify production lines, and does not assess manufacturing capability. The sample is reviewed at a receiving address, not at the production site.

Not supplier endorsement

A clean sample check does not mean the supplier is reliable, trustworthy, or recommended. It means one sample looked acceptable on the day it was checked. Future orders are a separate decision.

Arranging delivery to our local team

After intake and payment are matched, CSC emails the China receiving details. You give the details to the supplier and arrange shipment. CSC reviews the sample only after it is received and identified. The $199 fee covers the local sample review and report; CSC does not provide shipping, forwarding, customs handling, or other logistics.

Not legal or customs advice

No advice on import regulations, tariffs, product liability, IP, labeling law, or customs declarations. Consult a qualified professional for those questions.

How the $199 local sample check works

The process is straightforward: tell us what you need reviewed, complete payment, receive our China delivery details, ask your supplier to send the sample to our local team, and receive a concise report after the review.

Tell us what you would like reviewed

Briefly describe the sample and the visible details, questions, or concerns you would like our local team to focus on. The sample does not need to be shipped before you submit your request.

Receive the China delivery details

Once payment is matched, we email the receiving address and delivery instructions for you to share with your supplier. For secure case handling, the address is provided directly rather than published on the website.

Ask your supplier to send the sample

You give the China receiving details to the supplier and arrange shipment. CSC reviews the sample only after it is received and identified.

Our local team reviews the delivered sample

After the sample arrives, our local team opens it, reviews the agreed visible details, and records clear photos, short video, and practical observations. You do not need to be present.

Receive your concise report

You receive a written report with the recorded evidence, key observations, and a practical next-step assessment: Ship, Revise, Compare, or Stop. The final decision remains yours.

What the sample reality check report includes

Every $199 report is a concise, practical document — not a 40-page formal inspection dossier. It is written for you to act on, with enough detail to make a decision.

Report contents

Each report is structured around the evidence reviewed, the observations recorded, and the next buyer-side action.

Arrival record

Date received, package condition, tracking reference, and any visible external damage noted before opening.

Sample identification

Whether the delivered item matches the brief sample description and product references you provided for the review.

Photo record

Multiple-angle photos of the item, packaging, labels, accessories, and any areas of concern you flagged in advance.

Short video

A brief video clip showing the item in hand, with key observations highlighted — useful for sharing with the supplier.

Observation notes

Written notes on appearance, finish, workmanship, packaging quality, labeling accuracy, and basic functional check.

Measurements

Basic dimensions and weight, with simple comparison to the claimed specs — not precision metrology.

Flagged concerns

Any mismatch, damage, missing item, or noticeable quality issue is clearly named — not buried in a summary paragraph.

Decision recommendation

Ship / Revise / Compare / Stop — with the reasoning explained, not just a label. This is a buyer-side read, not a supplier instruction.

What you can decide after the check

The report does not make the decision for you — it gives you an independent set of observations so you can decide with more confidence. Here are the typical paths:

Ship

Ship is the report's recommendation when the reviewed evidence supports buyer-arranged forwarding for your own hands-on review. CSC does not forward the sample, provide logistics, or approve bulk production.

Revise

The sample has specific issues that the supplier can fix. You send the photos and notes to the supplier, ask for corrections, and request a revised sample before committing further.

Compare

You have samples from more than one supplier. The observations help you compare them side by side and choose which one to continue with — or whether neither is ready.

Stop

The sample has significant problems, or the submitted evidence leaves material conflicts unresolved. The report recommends pausing this supplier path before spending more.

Tell us what you would like to understand about the sample. After it is delivered to our local team, we provide practical photos, short video, documented observations, and a concise next-step assessment to support your decision.
