2. Information collected

We collect information necessary to provide evidence review services:

• Identity and contact information — name, email address, and communication details
• Transaction and order matching — payment status, payment reference, and case email matching
• Supplier, order, and sample materials — supplier links, quotes, invoices, payment details, product information, sample descriptions, tracking numbers, communications, and related files
• Files and communications — chat screenshots, photos, videos, documents, and case-related messages
• Device and analytics data — browser type, device type, IP address, and site interaction data where analytics tools are enabled
• Free preview request data — supplier identifier, product description, purchase stage, optional question, acceptance status, duplicate and abuse-prevention signals, and result-notification records

• Service delivery and report generation
• Payment matching and confirmation
• Communication and support
• Fraud and abuse prevention within bounded scope
• Managing the accepted free-preview allowance and sending private result notifications

Access to case files is limited to personnel assigned to the case.

Authorized Hong Kong and mainland China operational access may occur for service delivery. We do not claim unverified hosting geography, encryption standards, or cross-border transfer mechanisms.

6. Retention

We retain personal data, case materials, free-preview allowance records, abuse-prevention records, and result-notification records only for as long as reasonably necessary for service delivery, support, security, dispute handling, legal obligations, and legitimate operational records.

Retention periods vary by record type and operational need. Earlier deletion may be requested after delivery by contacting hello@chinasourcingcheck.com, subject to records we reasonably need to retain.

7. No reuse without permission

Customer materials are not used for public examples, marketing, or model training without explicit written permission.

We do not share case details with suppliers, platforms, or third parties unless required for service delivery or legal obligation.

8. Cookies and analytics controls

GA4 and Clarity may use cookies and similar technologies to collect usage data. Browser controls and provider opt-out mechanisms may affect analytics collection.

We do not claim to have implemented a consent management platform or cookie consent banner. Analytics processing follows the default behavior of each provider's tool.

9. Result notices and optional marketing

Emails needed to confirm a request, ask for missing information, or deliver a private result are service communications. Optional marketing consent is requested separately, is not preselected, and is not required to receive a result.
